Why did Australia enter the war in 1965? Did Australians support this decision?

The commitment of Australian forces to combat in South Vietnam in 1965 ultimately had far-reaching effects on Australian society. This activity guides participants through the process of learning the circumstances under which the commitment was made.

Working through the activity

This activity consists of a series of questions (26 in all) supplemented by historical evidence of the era. The activity is completely self-contained within a single, 20 page Acrobat™ file (807kb). 

All that needs to be done is to download the Acrobat™ file, and distribute it in either print or digital form to activity participants.
